Lyngblomsten has a new opportunity for a passionate leader to join our campus as Kitchen Supervisor.
The key function of this position with day hours is to help create an elevated dining experience with a hands-on approach. They will lead the team in our Long-Term Care as well as the Assisted Living and Independent dining rooms to ensure the production of high-quality meals across our St. Paul Campus.
We are looking for someone who loves to feed the souls of our community. This new position will be needing a person who loves food and to be plugged into the needs of this active campus. This position is Monday - Friday.
Qualifications:
· Experience in food service management within a senior care setting.
· A commitment to fresh ingredients and scratch cooking.
· Experience with menus, recipes, and nutrition.
· Knowledge of food allergies, modified textures, therapeutic diets, and diseases related to nutrition.
· Must be Serve Safe Cert.
· Knowledge of computer applications and MS office suite.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to lead and develop food service employees.
· Must have the desire to work with older adults.
· Ability to lead, train, manage, and schedule staff.
· Reports to Director of Culinary Services
